Style Note: The Isabella Oliver Cape

Posted by London Darling

Yesterday was one of those cold and breezy days in London when you really need something warm and snug to wrap up in. And what better way to wrap up than in a cape. It's the perfect alternative to a winter coat. I received this beautiful one as a Christmas Gift from one of my favourite labels Isabella Oliver.

London Fashion Week Diary: BODYAMR

The BODYAMR show was one that I was particularly looking forward to, and it was well worth the wait. The signature draping that I love still played a huge role in the collection as an abundance of luxe fabrics and beaded embellishment.

Beauty Buzz: Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare

Posted by London Darling

I recently changed my beauty regime to include the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser. It's been just six days, and already I've seen a noticeable difference in the clarity of my complexion and the texture of my skin.

Today marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month and to help beat breast cancer, Pretty Stylish London is hosting The Big Pink Pamper Party in an attempt to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Sadly, one in nine women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. With your help, Pretty Stylish London will raise vital funds for the charity's life-saving work. Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of breast cancer research in the UK. They are making fantastic progress, but they can't do it without our support.

The night will be a wonderful opportunity to network, unwind and indulge in a little pampering. Guests attending will receive complimentary cocktails and manicures by the team behind Pink Pamper Parties - SFC Mobile Spa.

The newly refurbished Glam Bar at On Anon is where all the action will be happening and the Bar Staff have been busy creating a special Cosmopolitan in honour of Breast Cancer Month. (I've tasted, it' so good!) Whilst Cupcakes To Go will be baking pink ribbon cupcakes to keep the theme going.

On the night, there will be a number of prizes for guests, including gift vouchers from cutting edge fashion label e.g... Plus, everyone will take home a rather exciting goody bag of fashion and beauty treats.

To RSVP, click here donate £25 which will go directly to the Charity. All it takes is 40 guests who want to support the fight against the disease, and we'll easily make the £1,000 target. Feel free to blog and tweet this invitation out to others who you feel will be interested.

For more information visit the official Big Pink Pamper Party website here.

  1. Davina Richards Said,

Breast Cancer Awareness is such a worthwhile cause, and it's great that so many companies are pledging their support financially - hopefully together we can make a big impact!

If any ladies are looking to update their hallway or back doorstep with a shiny new doormat, now's the time to buy as I've found that doormatsdelivered.com will be donating £1 per sale this month for Breast Cancer Awareness - which is rather nice!

If more suppliers started committing to raise funds we could raise so much money without actively trying to do so.

Hope the heads up helps! Do you know of any other companies doing this too?

Recent blog:=- Yeehah, cowboys! Giddy up for a table that’s got us all giddy…

  2. London Darling Said,

I agree! It's great to support such a worthy cause. Are you doing anything?
