Westfield Shopping Centre has joined forces with Getty Images - the leading news and media photo resource to place a little art and culture within London's largest retail hub. The Getty Images Gallery, will be regularly showcasing their world famous collections.
From the 7th of July to the 3rd of August, the gallery will be exhibiting artwork by British photographer Terry O'Neil - best known for capturing 1960s fashion and pop culture through the lens. With a career that spans over 45 years, O'Neil has significantly contributed to showbiz iconology and the way we visually engage with celebrities today.
Entitled 'Behind The Scenes', the collection features photographs of celebrities in never seen before settings, including the Beetles, Muhammad Ali, and the famous image of Fay Dunaway (his then girlfriend), the morning after she won the award for best Actress at the Oscars.
Admission is free.
Open daily from 12:00 - 19:00, except Sundays when it closes at 18:00.
For a luxurious party experience, a visit to Jewel in Piccadilly is just the place. The bar & club is a regular haunt for both celebs and socialites, and its reputation for being one of London's beautiful venues is completely warranted. The plush seating, chandeliers and rich fabric ceilings all add to it's glitzy appeal. But unlike other luxe clubs, this venue has that air of exclusivity minus the intimidation factor.
You have to try a cocktail or two, prepared by their expert Mixologists, and with prices starting at just £3.95 during happy hour, Jewel is great for after work drinks or a Saturday night chill out. I highly recommend the Vanilla Kiss - my favourite Jewel tipple to welcome to weekend.
On Fridays Jewel puts on a party night Glitteratti - expect plenty of funky, global house music with a little edge. On Saturdays it's all about high class glamour with an evening entitled La Boutique. Rotating DJs on the night include Ministry of Sound's Paul Mako and Bary Obzee of Pasha, Ibiza.

Retail guru Mary 'Queen of Shops' Portas, has been doing her bit for charity by running the Living and Giving shop at the Westfield shopping centre. The project presents a fresh look at second hand retail, encouraging high-street and designer lovers to enjoy a little 'thrifty' shopping. Stocked with classy cast-offs by fashion belles and industry personalities, the shop has already been open for 3 weeks and closes on the 26th of June - it's your last chance to visit!
Sales will be donated to charities Save The Children, Barnardo's and Mind. You'll find the Living And Giving shop located next door to Donna Ida and Twenty8Twelve on the first floor in The Village. If you visit I'd love to know what goodies you find!
